Start with the details

Know what is finished and what is planned.

A completed home and an off-the-plan home require different comparisons. Ask to see the actual property where possible, and distinguish photographs from renders when reviewing a future home.

Separate completed features from future works and confirm settlement details in writing.

Availability is confirmed by enquiry. No properties or prices are advertised on this page.

Before you make a shortlist

How can I tell whether a home is complete or off the plan?

Ask for its current construction status and whether you can inspect the actual home. Confirm whether the images are photographs of that property or artist’s impressions. For a proposed home, request the current plans and specification rather than assuming the illustrated finishes are included.

What should I check before settlement?

Arrange appropriate legal and building advice, review the contract inclusions and confirm the relevant occupancy documentation. Ask how defects or incomplete items will be recorded and addressed. Your adviser can explain the inspection and settlement arrangements that apply to the property.

Does a completed home include landscaping and window furnishings?

Only the written inclusions can answer that. Check appliances, heating and cooling, flooring, blinds, fencing, driveway and landscaping against the contract and the actual property. Keep a record of any agreed changes or outstanding work.

Can Luna Homes help me find a home ready to move into?

Share your preferred area, budget and move-in timeframe using “Ask about current homes”. Our team can discuss options and confirm their status. This guide does not promise immediate availability or a particular settlement date.
